Here is my first proper stop-motion animation...!

We started off by using plasticine to create animals that we would animate. I decided to make a giraffe with yellow and brown plasticine (and I named him Gerald). The storyline I made for my animation was my giraffe trying to reach a strawberry, so I made one out of plasticine too!

To animate my models I set up a background as the top of a desk, using books, pens and pencils. It took a long time to create my animation, because I could only do very small movements, and I needed a lot of them!

This was the finished product after I had just done the animation. I am planning to add text, sound effects and music, but this is the silent version, with just the visual.
